55 yaavat-pavano nivasati

यावत्पवनो निवसति देहे
तावत्पृच्छति कुशलं गेहे ।
गतवति वायौ देहापाये
भार्या बिभ्यति तस्मिन्काये ॥

भज गोविन्दं भज गोविन्दं
भज गोविन्दं मूढमते ।
भज गोविन्दं 6

yāvat-pavano nivasati dehe
tāvat-pṛcchati kuśalaṃ gehe ।
gatavati vāyau dehāpāye
bhāryā bibhyati tasminkāye ॥

bhaja govindaṃ bhaja govindaṃ
bhaja govindaṃ mūḍhamate ।

As long as air (breath) resides in you, so long your well-being will be enquired by those at home. When breath has exited from the body at the end of embodiment, even one’s own wife will be afraid of that body.
