How to Overcome the Binding Effect of Sattvaguna?

Sattvaguna is supposed to be the best and the most spiritual in its effect and spiritual influence. It is through sattvaguna that we try to overcome the effect of Rajas and Tamas. One who is free of delusional clinging and ego, who has will and fervour, who remains unaffected by the success and failure of his effort, is said to a Saatvik performer.
