Enlightened Sympathy

  • Enlightened Sympathy

    Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha

All of us know have the knowledge and faith that God is Supreme. Knowing that everything is at His behest, there is no point in having sympathy and concern beyond a certain measure. There is no point in becoming exceedingly sympathetic to the point of becoming weak.

Through Spiritual wisdom, one must not be undone by the worst stroke of calamity. Sympathy must not overwhelm a person. There is a tearless sympathy. A painless or affliction-less sympathy is there, an enlightened sympathy is there, which a seeker must think about.

The knowledge of truth tells you that you be loving, sympathetic, sacrificing but it does not mean you should be swallowed up by all these things.

The truth is that natural calamities and disasters will always occur. One must keep a balance and dispassion through any emotion.
