The Role of Viveka in a Seeker's Life

Swamiji says that if one incorporates viveka in life, then life will be much more enriched and empowered. While applying viveka, one can be focused on the external objects and interactions and also on one’s own internal workings and processes.

A seeker of knowledge must focus on the internal sphere. The focus should be on the inner sentience which has immense potential and magnitude.

In spirituality, the viveka is focused on one’s own mind and the intelligence is constantly harnessed to deal with the problems of the mind and make the mind progressively richer, greater, more and more beautiful, flexible and assimilating.
