Quite often, we feel disturbed by negative thoughts which crop up in the mind. In this track, Swamiji gives a formula to deal with such thoughts.

The mind produces a negative thought and the mind itself tells us that it is negative. We need to understand that it is negative and not pursue it or follow it. We have to disregard it. When one develops the habit of disregarding negative thoughts, slowly the mind will no longer be affected by them.

Swamiji stresses that a seeker must do the sadhana of avoiding and dissuading the undesirable thoughts and inviting and encouraging the desirable thoughts.

नियमो हि परानन्दो नियमात् क्रियते बुधैः ।।
